Hi At the moment I’ve got an Interceptor. Looking to step up a bit. Still want a sit up style and as I’m 6 foot don’t want to be cramped. Want a bike with power in low revs, don’t want to be wringing it’s neck; want bike to be comfortable at 70/80mph, not revy or vibey Thinking of Tracer7 or Tiger 660 or Tiger 850/900 or used Tiger 1050 or Ducati Multistrada V2 if I push the boat out; BMW R1250RS if I really pushed the boat out Just not sure whether to go with a bike with a screen, see so many reviews where screen gives more buffeting which I don’t want; could put up with a bit of wind noise. See you had a MRA add on to screen, did you need that? As I only do small trips do I need a screen? Should I stick with a naked?? Like the look of XSR900 and Monster. Problem is I’ve got a top box and although they look ugly on a bike often need a bit of functionality. Don’t like Z650 or MT07, they are a bit small for me So best choice with a screen? Best choice without a screen? Best naked 700cc? Hope you can help with choice

you can find loads of them on eBay ranging from £1900 all the way up to as much as £4000 with loads of extras

get a smaller fly wheel fitted and a higher gear ratio put in it and it will go the Varadero was built with a bigger fly wheel thats why its so slow moving

Adjustment of the throttle-body may stop the vibrations..

I think a 250 would be best for your style of riding. It will follows cars just as good as you on the tiger and give loads to the gallon.

You mentioned “my versys” like 100 times!!

Bought one recently as a second bike - the first being a 94 sprint. Other than the fact they both have two wheels, they are worlds apart but good bikes in their own right. Not keen on the rest of the adventurer range or the retro's.

Maybe they should of made a 250cc version for bit more power

Nice little trip around Nailsea then !! Spot the local Supermarkets !! Looks a good bike for a new rider unlike the dinky bikes like the YZF/CBF 125 ( not ideal for bigger/taller or older people as we look stupid on them!! )

wow a week and a half and it starts up right away? amazing. (sarcasm) I have multiple bikes and my chinese bike has sat for weeks at a time and started right away, i really dislike it when people who has never owned chinese bikes start shitting on them based on an outdated opinion. It highly depends on the brand you buy as most bikes now including many hondas are now made in china and the same factorys that make those bikes churn out the cheaper chinese bikes you see sold by lexmoto and sinnis which really arent bad.

Hi I've just come across your video, I have a Tiger Sport too, I am about to swap my Arrow can for an SC project one as the Arrow is far too quiet, you mention it's a pain to fit, can I ask if you have any tips? I know there is a lot of bolts to remove for grab rails/luggage mounts and rear tail. Are you still happy with the exhaust 2 years later? Thanks :)
